{"id":783,"date":"2018-07-04T01:37:57","date_gmt":"2018-07-04T01:37:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/travel.johnmatienzo.com\/?p=783"},"modified":"2018-07-04T02:22:56","modified_gmt":"2018-07-04T02:22:56","slug":"alberta-4th-day-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travel.johnmatienzo.com\/?p=783","title":{"rendered":"Alberta &#8211; 4th Day Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Coming in from Banff, there was crazy traffic (there was an accident on the trans Canada high way, which looked like a truck carrying cars fell into the center lane, likely from the rain).<\/p>\n<p>I checked into the Delta (on 4th ave and 1st) at around 7:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>From the hotel, I walked around a bit. I explored around City Hall, Olympic Plaza and Calgary Tower. I then strolled along Stephen Ave, and tried to go to the National on 10th. Unfortunately it was closed (for a private event). However I was able to go to the one on 17th ave (however it did not have any games):<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"9TJxoQCAeu\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/food.johnmatienzo.com\/2018\/07\/04\/national-on-17th\/\">National (on 17th)<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;National (on 17th)&#8221; &#8212; Food\" src=\"https:\/\/food.johnmatienzo.com\/2018\/07\/04\/national-on-17th\/embed\/#?secret=TW3HGCDhZ7#?secret=9TJxoQCAeu\" data-secret=\"9TJxoQCAeu\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>After the National, I walked along 17th, between 4th and 1st. It too much was happening.
