Although will say I got a bunch of resort things checked off early in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">First did a 3 mile run on the treadmill in the fitness center (but have to say that the fitness center was pretty sad\u2026 basically the size of two standard hotel rooms put together).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">After, quickly used the hotel\u2019s Onsen (mainly since it\u2019s been a while and wanted to re-immerse in the Japanese culture, but also it\u2019s free). The Onsen itself seemed fairly standard (which was fine for me).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Grabbed a quick brunch bite at the resort\u2019s Ocean Cafe Restaurant, trying their loco moco. Details here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"LjOEsbKMV7\"><a href=\"https:\/\/food.johnmatienzo.com\/2026\/04\/18\/ocean-cafe\/\">Ocean Cafe<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;Ocean Cafe&#8221; &#8212; Food\" src=\"https:\/\/food.johnmatienzo.com\/2026\/04\/18\/ocean-cafe\/embed\/#?secret=DQ9jQEG3PG#?secret=LjOEsbKMV7\" data-secret=\"LjOEsbKMV7\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">After, checked out Manza Beach (connected to our resort) to hang with people. Didn\u2019t go into the water, but it did have a water obstacle course you could do for a fee. Also other water sports like snorkeling, and kayaking were available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">After, prepared for the wedding ceremony, which was at Arman Terrace (40 minutes from the hotel). I\u2019ll let the photos speak for themselves. Overall, a very beautiful ceremony. The sun came through the overcast for most of it, and the vows were very touching (from Connie needing space from time to time, to Jo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">After the ceremony, we went back to the resort for the reception, where they cut the cake, had Okinawa style food, speeches, and trivia. Oh, and at the end there were fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">There was an after party that was also at the resort, which was mainly dancing to 2000\u2019s music, and some EDM like Calvin Harris and Kaskade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">There was also an after after party at a bar called Wankara Bar. It\u2019s mainly a bar, but we paid them extra to turn it also into Karaoke.
