Day 3 in Okinawa was mainly dedicated to meeting up with everyone that is coming to the wedding at the welcome dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But before that, I did end up going snorkeling at Blue Cave. And it was definitely worth it. Basically left the hotel at 10:30am to meet with the snorkeling company. They gave us all the equipment including wet suit (I did bring my own snorkel mask). I will say they were very well organized, and I was in a group where the lead instructor spoke decent English (he clearly wanted to speak to me to become better). After suiting up and getting instructions (mainly in Japanese, but they did give me a summarized English version since I have snorkeled before), we used a boat to get near the location of the cave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we got near the cave, we snorkeled around the area for a bit. Fortunately for us it wasn\u2019t busy! And definitely a lot of fish that we could see. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we entered the cave, water was very blue from one angle, which is why it was given that name. Also could see fishes in there too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last part of the experience was feeding the fishes bread. Not gonna lie, apparently they can bite you if you don\u2019t keep moving your hand, so wasn\u2019t too<\/p>\n\n\n\n

much of a fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, I\u2019ll say coral was ok, but the fishes and the cave made it worth it, and made it better than Haunama Bay snorkeling (but still not better than Captain Cook in Big Island).  Also the touring company gave us the go-pro pics and videos of the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After snorkeling, headed to the hotel to get ready for the Welcome Party (did get a hamburger steak for lunch via room service).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome party was at La Casa Panacea, which is a 15 minute drive away from the hotel. I\u2019ll let the pictures speak for themselves for the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the welcome party, we mainly hung out at the resort, and drank whisky (from Jameson, to the Okinawa Blue Rice Whisky that I got earlier, to another Japanese whisky I bought called Shinzato Whisky, which was definitely more fuller than the previous one).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that ended the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
