This was a pretty action packed day.<\/p>\n

First started by going to the Dubrovnik Shopping Minceta (mall). Rob needed to grab a <\/span>Fanny pack for Italy. The mall reminded me of Dragon Centre in China Town Toronto. We then went <\/span>to the <\/span>restaurant in the mall called <\/span>Minceta (haha, go figure). Details <\/span>can be found here:<\/span><\/p>\n

After, we headed to Old Town, and did the most popular tourist attraction, which is walking the <\/span>walls of Old Town (<\/span>I did it through the <\/span>Dubrovnik card). It took about an hour (with taking some <\/span>pics). We <\/span>might’ve <\/span>lent <\/span>abut more time taking <\/span>pics if it <\/span>wasn’t so hot!<\/span><\/p>\n

After, <\/span>I did a Game of Thrones walking tour. Some <\/span>notes from the tour:<\/span><\/p>\n

-Kings Landing was in Malta for the first season, until some issues arose <\/span>with some <\/span>heritage thing being <\/span>broken from the set<\/span><\/p>\n

-Disney will be filing a scene <\/span>in the <\/span>upcoming Star Wars movie at Dubrovnik (likely only a 3 <\/span>minute scene).<\/span><\/p>\n

-When using Old Town, <\/span>AirBnb and shops get compensated for any business they lose <\/span>by the film company<\/span><\/p>\n

-Lots of “teleporting” of scenes<\/span><\/p>\n

-The red keep gets “placed” in many scenes<\/span><\/p>\n

-The shame walk is comprised <\/span>of several <\/span>parts of the old town<\/span><\/p>\n

-Lots of scenes shot at Lovrjenac (castle building slightly outside Old Town)<\/span><\/p>\n

After the tour, visited St Blaise’s church and one other church (did not catch the name). <\/span><\/p>\n

Then rode a cable car to the <\/span>top of the mountain for sunset. <\/span>Thought the sunset and view was worth it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then went back to the <\/span>hotel to get <\/span>ready for <\/span>some <\/span>clubbing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Went to Club Lazareti, which <\/span>played pretty good <\/span>techno music. Wish <\/span>I stayed the <\/span>whole night (but went <\/span>back to Revelin <\/span>since the<\/span> night before <\/span>was great… but unfortunately not true for this night). <\/span>Still, met some <\/span>Germans at Revelin, where we tried to <\/span>check out the beach for any after <\/span>party. Unfortunately <\/span>there was none. Still a fun night overall. (Note, there was an after party at Club Lazareti, but they added the Euro COVID <\/span>certificate <\/span>requirement for <\/span>after 12am. <\/span>Sigh).<\/span><\/p>\n
